Our planet is the future. People and communities form the roots of our planet.
Defending and protecting one helps the other to thrive. At Human Company, we believe we have a responsibility to act with commitment, remaining faithful to the principles and values that have always guided us – because with respect and authenticity, we feel involved and believe we can play an active role in achieving these goals. For us, this is what sustainability means.

A natural choice
Fresh air is the vital breath that has nourished and continues to nourish all our visions, together with the awareness that we must listen to Nature and let it breathe.
Because when Nature breathes, we all breathe. And when we give Nature space, we can all find space to be welcoming and welcomed. We believe in development that makes use of existing possibilities and strengths: in the environment, in society and in people. Our deep commitment acts as a support for natural, vibrant, luxuriant growth.
**We are Human Company – we have been embracing fresh air and the outdoors since 1982.
And we believe that the time for reconnection, engagement and care is now. **

our principles
Our guidelines
for a sustainable future
Hospitality is a natural choice.
We know this because we are the first guests in the places where we offer open-air hospitality, and every day we choose to commit ourselves to the spontaneous, respectful, harmonious growth of the bond between people and Nature.
It’s all about respect.
This is why we choose to protect our sites’ landscapes, keeping them as unspoilt as possible, protecting the time for being and the place for doing, and reducing our interventions and environmental impact.
Hospitality is about listening.
To listen, you need to leave space. This is what we are committed to doing – working to ensure that nature is our ally and not a resource, continuing to forge links and relationships with local communities and businesses, creating a working environment rooted in listening, understanding and belonging, so that we feel free to express ourselves and be ourselves.
Courageous by nature.
Our commitment to sustainability involves listening, supporting and respecting: the people within Human Company, to ensure they all live and work in an inclusive and family-like environment. We take care of them by promoting a culture of mental and physical well-being that contributes to personal and professional development.
The local communities, by dedicating ourselves to understanding their essence in order to recognise their strengths and weaknesses, so as to support and enhance their heritage and harmonious growth. Nature, whose beauty we admire and respect, by working to ensure that it is not just a tool for us, but our ally, our home, by improving the efficiency of our facilities and by reducing the use of natural resources. essere, parte.
Taking part.
It is time to take part, to get involved and be present, to create meaningful sustainability.
Because we always want to remember and support the ideals that fuelled our vision from the very beginning, honing in on the essentials. And we must reiterate that thought leads to creation, reduction leads to growth, acceptance leads to involvement.
Doing is what makes the difference.
Since 1982, we have been working with stakeholders to promote regenerative tourism that brings happiness, well-being, beauty through reconnection with nature. We have not stopped and we will not stop, but our steps are more measured – and deliberate – because we are well aware of the impact that each one has. And because we believe that every development is only truly sustainable when happiness, well-being and beauty are shared by all, protected forever and respected continually.
In our nature.
Open-air hospitality is in our nature. We’ve always said so. Nature is a core part of our open-air hospitality. We are increasingly aware of this. And that is what guides us. Always and evermore.
our pillars
Our sustainability plan is built on three pillars:
nature, people and local communities
Nature.
We believe that the open air is the breath of life and that we must take care of Nature and let it breathe. This is our first pillar.

People.
We strongly believe in People, in helping them to grow responsibly and creatively by supporting their mental and physical well-being. This is our second pillar.

Local communities.
We believe in promoting the value of the surrounding area and in the regeneration of the local communities through engagement. This is our third pillar.
