Local communities are our roots.
Our connection with the local area is a key aspect of our identity, preserving and promoting it and raising awareness of its highlights.
This is how we want to provide every guest with authentic, immersive experiences. This is the difference between being somewhere and living there, even if it is only temporary.
That is why we work with institutions, charities and organisations that operate in the areas around our sites to create high-quality content and strengthen ties with local communities. In recent years, we have organised events and workshops with local artisans, who share their expertise and passion with our guests.
We believe that every opportunity is important for discovering, experimenting and learning. That’s why we’ve also developed nature areas in collaboration with dedicated associations, where adults and children can discover wildlife through engaging activities and hands-on games. The experiences on offer also involve introductions to local food and drink. We feel it is essential to increasingly involve high-quality producers, restaurateurs and small businesses who keep local traditions alive with their passion.

Our projects
Eroica
L’Eroica is more than just a race and more than just an event. Founded in the heart of Chianti in 1997, today these historic cycling races are held across four continents. Eroica is a timeless tribute to the cycling of yesteryear, to authenticity and to the beauty our beloved Tuscan Hills.
This has led to a partnership rooted in a shared passion for discovery, connection with local communities and a desire to forge a bond with nature. Two different worlds, united by the same values: respect and appreciation for the local area, rediscovering the pleasure of the outdoors and the desire to enjoy experiences that stay with you and promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
Together, we celebrate this adventure that beings together sport, the open air and freedom.
Lonely Planet
When we talk about a region, our focus is never just on the best-known, most-photographed destinations. Often it is the micro-destinations that are hiding little treasures, gems to be discovered, unique experiences: exactly what travellers are looking for. That’s why we decided to work on the “Territori da scoprire” (Local areas to discover) project with Lonely Planet and the EDT publishing house. This led to the creation of eight new, limited-edition mini guides dedicated to authentic and little-known micro-destinations, such as the Valdarno, the area around Lake Garda and the Etruscan Coast – places jam-packed with charm, traditions and beauty just waiting to be discovered. Our goal is clear: to shine a spotlight on local products, promote traditions and strengthen relationships with local communities.
Because for us, local areas and communities are not simply the background for our sites, but the true stars of the open-air experience.
Our sites are not just places to stay – above all they are ideal starting points for exploring what makes each place unique: landscapes, history, food and drink, and people. This is how every holiday becomes an authentic discovery, where nature and culture coexist in synergy and harmony.
Schools project
We strongly believe in the value of teaching and the power of discovery. We believe that school provides an opportunity to learn, and also an opportunity to give value back to the communities where our sites are located. We believe it is essential to create valuable projects that involve schools in order to forge links with the local community and pass on the true meaning of hospitality and care for the local area to younger generations from an early age.
That’s why we have launched various projects for nursery schools, including English and German workshops where children learn to overcome language barriers, and for primary schools, creating tools for telling stories related to local places and traditions.
Because even in the hospitality industry, we can always take time to learn.
And to grow.

Nature
is our environment
Every day, we strive to preserve the essence of our sites, preserving their landscapes and
leaving them as unspoilt as possible.

People
are our strength.
Whether guests or employees, we believe that people are our most valuable resource.
