Palagina

Rurale di natura

A historic villa where rural life merges with beauty, tradition and breathing space.

Once the site of an 18th-century monastery, today Villa Palagina includes a hotel, a farmhouse, a farming hamlet, a honey room and a family farm. Here, you can experience, discover and explore Nature, with its hills, centuries-old olive trees and vineyards.

Time stands still and expands, allowing you to admire and savour the beauty of Tuscany to the fullest.

The main building, la dimora, houses the hotel, featuring Tuscan-style rooms, the restaurant, with a menu focused on local produce (much of which comes from the gardens surrounding the buildings) and two swimming pools. The farmhouse, la cascina, has its own swimming pool and more modern rooms. The farming hamlet, il borgo agricolo, opened in October 2025 and is home to glamping accommodation that draw inspiration from rural crafts and activities that reflect agricultural traditions. The glamping huts are surrounded by fruit trees, aromatic herbs and lush natural beauty. The honey room is designed for a romantic getaway, featuring a wooden cottage with a panoramic veranda, private jacuzzi and details so you can enjoy complete relaxation and all-round well-being.

The family farm holds a range of educational workshops and experiences designed for adults and children, with a focus on the vegetable garden, vineyards and animals.

Palagina has many different souls that live here and breathe life into it, working on the land and in the local area, welcoming guests and giving back to the community, organising events and  providing relaxation. From guided tasting sessions to yoga classes in the vineyard, to dinners under the stars amongst the grapes. From nature discovery trails to insights into the autumn harvest. Palagina is also the perfect location for hosting weddings and ceremonies that are authentic yet refined, spontaneous yet unforgettable.

The links with the local area are stronger than ever, as seen in the children’s workshops, which focus on tending the organic vegetable garden, orienteering in the woods and trees.

The relationship with local communities has been growing stronger year on year. For some time now, young people with disabilities from the Fondazione ODA (Opera Diocesana Assistenza) charity have been helping out on the farm, getting involved in a range of events and activities, from the grape harvest to bottling and labelling wine.

Palagina brings together many souls — those who work the land, welcome guests, support the community and create unique experiences.
