TTG Rimini

Travel Experience 2018

From 10 to 12 October, Human Company participated in the 55th edition of the TTG Travel Experience Trade Fair in Rimini, the main B2B Marketplace for the Italian tourism offer. In addition to our company's stand at the trade fair, the Group presented the Observatory on Outdoor Tourism: all the numbers for the 2018 season and the trends for the future. The research was conducted in collaboration with Travel Appeal, leading company in travel big data analysis.

The main topics we covered concerned the tourism sector, satisfaction levels and online reputation and the forecast of tourist flows, which were based on the analysis of comments regarding 2,500 Italian accommodation facilities that were collected from the major social networks, portals and OTAs.

From the results of the first Observatory, the Outdoor Tourism sector has a value of 4.9 billion euros. The Group presents a total of 4.2 millions overnight days, with a focus of  3.4 millions in Village, Family Park and Camping in Town.

Tuscany, Veneto and Puglia are the regions with the widest range of outdoor tourist facilities and while 43.5% of guests choose seaside destinations, 36.7% prefer art cities such as Venice, Rome and Florence.

The ANTS project (Activity Nature Training Sense) conceived by Daniele Tognaccini, creator of Milan Lab, was also presented during the event.
